Fields of color
Today was insanely gorgeous! The colors are just amazing right now, it was a perfect 65 degrees, sunshine, not a cloud in the sky - just perfect! I absolutely love fall days like these. It's supposed to be like this all week and I'm so excited. I've been checking out some fun things to do really soon - like hayrides and corn mazes. I love driving down the highway and seeing signs for all of the haunted fields and pumpkin patches. I could swoon over autumn all day long!
This is honestly my favorite autumn dress. It fits me perfectly and is so comfortable - plus it's sleeved, cinches at the waist, is the perfect length.. and of course, it has autumn florals. Oh gosh, how typical! But seriously - this dress is my dream for autumn dates with Brett running around fields and getting cake batter ice-cream with pecans and cinnamon. We haven't exactly figured out this autumn sunlight yet - it was so bright when we were taking these photos. I was nearly blinded!
Tomorrow is already Wednesday! Isn't that crazy? I could have sworn that when I was done with college that time would somehow slow down. I've been trying to put my life into a happy balance lately - but it's so hard sometimes! There are so many things I want to do and be in my life. I want to be an amazing wife to Brett always, cook really well like my mom and grandma, have a house as clean and as welcoming as Brett's parent's house, find a career I'll love and grow in for years, continue to be a style blogger, read more books, watch more movies, take trips, travel, spend more time with family, someday own a Newfoundland puppy and we'll go for walks every night and he can ride in his scooter side car - how am I going to find the time for all of those dreams? Life can be pretty impossible sometimes, but it's about the journey - not the result. Right? :)
