Especially during autumn, you have to check out CR-510 Bridge or Dead River Bridge Overlook. It’s absolutely stunning. You can drive down the road and park at a little lot at the end of the street. This bridge is of historical significance because there’s only one other similar structure in Michigan. Go and visit!

Black Rocks is a “Marquette staple” — the spot where you see most pictures of people jumping off the 10-15 foot cliffs. If you’re visiting the area, this is a must-visit, no matter the season!
Read MoreI was so excited when I found out you can pretty much walk out to the Presque Isle Harbor Breakwater Light along the breakwater on a very easy to navigate path, until you hit the breakwater rocks. Those are bit more tricky, and I attempted to scale a few, but it was interesting in these sandals. So I waited, but I’ll def be back out here at some point in sneaks scaling this breakwater to reach the lighthouse.
