Pictured Rocks National Shoreline
On our second day in Munising, we spent our time exploring the Pictured Rocks National Shoreline! I've been there once before, and absolutely fell in love. I couldn't wait to come back to see all of the lighthouses I missed. We spent our early morning heading to Miners Falls and Miners Castle. We ate lunch at Falling Rock Cafe (cutest little cafe ever) and went back to the hotel for a little nap. It was only 58º for most of our trip, and some of the colors of the leaves were already starting to change! Afterwards, we headed to the ferry for our sunset cruise. It was freezing! I could have easily worn a winter jacket outside. Luckily, we snagged indoor seats on the boat, and were able to see the rocks with our window open. Plus, I saw the Grand Island East Channel Lighthouse. Another checked off the list! Afterwards, we ate a late dinner at Sydney's Restaurant. We ate mostly seafood and (local!) whitefish all weekend. So good! Perfect day spent as a Yooper.
