Grand Traverse Lighthouse

This past weekend, we headed up north to Traverse City for one of the most amazing weekends. I absolutely loved it up there. I've been to TC several times before, but have never stayed and truly explored the city. It's so wonderful, and there are so many things to do! We got into town, devoured burgers at J & S Hamburg and checked into our hotel at Grand Traverse Resort. After getting ready, we decided to make the drive up to the Grand Traverse Lighthouse in Northport (almost an hour from downtown) to see it during sunset. It was beautiful! We didn't get to explore the inside, but I always love seeing lighthouses in that golden light. After exploring for a bit, we headed back downtown to check out The Little Fleet, after receiving several recommendations. We made it to the food trucks too late as they were closing, but we went inside for a couple of drinks. Adorable place! After that, we headed to North Peak Brewing for a late dinner and drinks. I had the root beer pork sandwich. So delicious! Afterwards, we headed back to the hotel for an early night so we could spend all day Saturday exploring. I'll be back with more from the trip! xo
