Among the wildflowers

Well... summer feels like it's wrapping up! I know we have a good month left, but there's definitely a transitional shift going on right now. The mornings and evenings are getting cooler, the days are getting shorter. It's completely dark by 9pm now, where just a few weeks ago, it felt like it was light out until 10pm almost! I absolutely love summer, and this summer was one of the best, but I can't help but get excited for autumn. It's my favorite season! But for right now, I'm enjoying my favorite summer month and trying to make the most of every moment while it's here.

I've been picking up a few new pieces here and there... knowing that whatever I get now needs to be able to transition into autumn. I just received this adorable golden yellow gingham top from Tradlands, and it's so cute! I love the oversized fit, that you can tuck it in or tie it at the waist, and the longer sleeve length will be perfect for those autumn days! But for right now, I'm definitely styling this for summer! I paired it with a pair of wide leg jeans and mules, but I could definitely see this styled with a cute pair of jean shorts or a cute denim skirt. If you're interested in seeing what all the hype is about with Tradlands, you can use code SELECTIVEPOTENTIAL15 to receive 15% off your entire order (for first-time customers!) I'm loving this brand so far. Everything is SUCH high quality, and it's all sustainably-made. I'm a huge fan! Be sure to pop over to their website to do a little shopping!

Not much else is new... we're home for a couple of weeks before heading off on another trip, so it feels nice to get caught up on simple things like tackling a mountain of laundry, cooking dinner at home, cleaning out my car, getting to the gym, getting caught up on emails, etc. I love the simple life. Haha! I'll be back with another post in collab with Tradlands (a staple chambray top!) and a few posts wrapping up summer. I still owe you guys a fitness post (and I promise it's on my to-do list) but life has been pretty hectic. Hoping these next two weeks at home, I can get caught up on all sorts of things. Hope you have a great start to your week!
