An Old Fashioned Night In

My friends love a good old fashioned, and even though I’m a bigger wine drinker myself, I’m definitely enjoying this classic cocktail which has flavors of tart citrus, balanced by bitter notes and a touch of sweetness.

If you love an old fashioned yourself, you’ll appreciate this recipe. It’s a simple two-step process that includes combining DeKuyper Classic Ol’ Fashion liqueur in a glass with bourbon (they recommend Jim Beam), stirring and enjoying. Typically, an old fashioned is served over ice. I love the big square ice cubes because they add a fancy element to this cocktail! Serve it in a fun glass, garnish with an orange slice and cherry. The recipe is right on the bottle too, so you never have to look it up if you forget!
