Well… it feels super strange to be posting on a pumpkin farmstand when our whole life has been flipped upside down, but I have to begin with some sense of normalcy, right? So if you haven’t heard or don’t follow me on Instagram, you can head there to read this post. Before the fire happened on Monday, we were having an amazing autumn — we got out to our local pumpkin patch, we took a beautiful color tour up north to Tunnel of Trees. So on one hand, I have enough blog content to last me through Halloween for the most part, except for a few collaborations I had lined up — so that’s good! But on the other hand, it also feels so weird to post ‘happy autumn posts’ when in reality we’re not living at home, dealing with restoration, major water and smoke damage, and all the emotional stress that came with waking up to the most hellish and scary ordeal ever. But, like I said… more steps toward normalcy are good for me and working on my blog is something that brings me joy (and is a great distraction), so here we are.
