ModCloth Swap Party
One of my favorite events in NYC was the ModCloth /Swapaholics Swap Party. It was so much fun. You got into the event, were able to pick a ModCloth item (got the cutest polka dot skirt!) and trade your two items for two new items! How fun is that? It was so great to see so many amazing blogging friends. (I loved seeing Turi from ModCloth too - I adore her.) Thanks to ModCloth and Swapaholics for putting on such an amazing event!
Yay! We were so excited when we had a fourth of the Delightful Dozen at the party! I had so much fun with these girls this week. I'm still amazed at the friends you can make by blogging. I also loved seeing my dearest friends Emily, Jasmine and Jen. We've all been blogging around the same amount of time and I feel like we've all "grown up" together!
I hadn't planned to wear this outfit at all - haha! I was actually out and about shopping earlier in the day and stopped to H&M. I've been coveting everything burnt orange. I get in this autumn mood right around this time of year and buy everything burnt orange, mustard, brown, burgundy and black. I'm so in the mood for autumn colors - so I had to wear this dress right away. I love it. I can't wait to remix it a million times in front of pretty autumn leaves (which are already changing like crazy in Michigan!)
It was so fun to finally meet Ashley of Lions Lace Lattes and Mikhaila of From Aprons to Polkadots too! I've been emailing with them recently to meet up in NYC and I'm so glad I got a chance to hang out with them at the party and catch up! They were so sweet.
It was such a lovely night. I'm super grateful for these opportunities I have to meet so many people and do so many fun things thanks to my blog. It's definitely my favorite thing about blogging - the community and the fun opportunities you can get. Eee! I have a lot of NYC posts left, phew! Tomorrow I have a new giveaway and then I'll be back on Thursday with my recap of Bloggers Night Out!
