Blog Better Boston Recap with LuLu's

Last weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to head out to Boston to host a workshop about creating your media kit for Blog Better Boston. First and most importantly, a huge thank you to Amy and Alana of BBBos, and LuLu's for getting me out there! I had a wonderful weekend in the city. It was awesome to be surrounded by really really supportive gals and an all around good vibe. I've attended my fair share of conferences as a blogger, but as a speaker, I feel even more inspired and motivated about blogging. It makes my heart so full to be able to inspire anyone, but honestly, every girl I talked to at the conference inspired me even more.

I hosted four sessions on creating your media kit, and the conversation was my favorite part about the experience. I flew through the first session, so thank you to everyone for asking lots of questions! By the second session, I learned to slow down + be more detailed. I'm slowly learning how to be more of a public speaker! LuLu's put together an amazing booth, with a fun style scavenger hunt with the latest spring trends. Once you got through it, you could spin the wheel to win a piece of clothing or jewelry, and be entered to win a $250 gift card to LuLu's! I had my picture taken quite a few times for the "bold lip" spring trend. I love my Coral Crush, what can I say?! It's the perfect color for spring!

After the conference, a few of us all went to dinner at dbar. It was awesome to sit, chat, drink sangria and eat a super yummy dinner. I'll say it over and over again that my favorite part about blogging is connecting with fellow bloggers and friends that I only get to see once a year (if that)! I loved spending the weekend with Julie of Orchid Grey, and Stephanie of LuLu's. Plus to see Amy again, and meet Alana was wonderful. I was so excited to talk to everyone at the conference and to make new friends in Boston! I'll definitely be back for a longer trip someday, hopefully soon! I have a full outfit post with my LuLu's outfit coming soon, plus a Sunday afternoon post at Boston Common and the Public Garden!
