Roshambo
I'm so excited to collaborate with Free People on styling a few looks from their August catalog! To accompany the catalog, they also shot their third and final installment of Roshambo titled "Paper Scissors". I embedded the video below, so be sure watch it! It's part of a seriously amazing set of mini films; really inspiring. I picked out this lace and crochet drop waist black dress from their dresses collection, along with a plaid coat for autumn and an oversized ivory top. I'm thrilled to finally start wearing some of my fall clothes!
We're right at the time of year where it's super tricky to time lighting. I swear it changes so quickly from day to day! But we headed out to the corn fields for this post, and got that perfect flooded sunlight I love so much. I'm really looking forward to autumn, but I know that after autumn comes winter... and I'm not looking forward to blogging then. Winters are so challenging, especially because it's dark by the time I get out of work! I'm just going to soak up these next few months as much as I can.
I'm so ready for the weekend! For being a short week, this week felt long. I'll be back tomorrow with a special invite for Michigan-area bloggers, and a little celebratory post on my four year "blogiversary". Can you guys believe it's been that long? Crazy! This weekend, I think we're taking a quick little trip down to St. Joseph to check out a couple of fun places. Plus, I want to keep plugging away at this apartment and getting organized! It feels good to be settling down for the colder months.
Be sure to check out the Roshambo: Paper Scissors video below! You can watch the other two on their YouTube page as well. I'll see you guys tomorrow! xo
