A little downtown shopping
A couple of weekends ago, Eric and I headed to downtown Holland to do a little shopping, visit Frances Jaye and stroll around. We grabbed drinks and some farm frites (sounds so much fancier than fries ;)) at Butch's Dry Dock and some sweets at the Holland Peanut Store. I love downtown Holland. It's just so quaint! This day was pretty much the last warm one we've had. Since then, it's been freezing and now it looks like a winter wonderland outside!
I'm having the post-autumn, pre-holiday blahs right now. I don't know what's up really! All I want to do on the weekends is laze around in my pajamas, nap, and put off all of my to-do's. I've just been feeling uninspired lately. I thought maybe a new haircut would help, but that didn't really do the trick. It's a lot shorter now! I'll post pictures soon. But, I think I'm just looking forward to a refreshing four-day weekend, Thanksgiving with family and decorating our apartment for Christmas. I'm sure that'll be a good pick-me-up.
I've been dressing pretty casual lately, a lot of denim, chunky sweaters, cozy socks and boots. I need to figure out more stylish ways to stay warm this winter though, otherwise I'm going to get burnt out on running this blog! It's always so much harder in the winter months. But, in December, I have quite a few wintry posts planned, and per usual, I'm taking the last two weeks of the month off to do some recap posts and to relax before the new year begins!
