Shoe Carnival Unboxed

Hey guys! Today I’m teaming up with Shoe Carnival to help promote their #unboxed campaign! This weekend, I headed over to their location in Grandville, Michigan to check it out for myself. I used to shop at Shoe Carnival as a kid, but hadn’t been there in quite some time. I was surprised to find many of my favorite brands there— brands like Keds, Converse and Vans. I was also impressed with their selection of Skechers, and New Balance as well. After running my 10K this weekend, I was eyeing their running shoes, but I went for some really cute Keds (polka dots!) and some red Bobs by Skechers. I’m going to wear those like crazy with my nautical outfits this summer! I had a great time at the store though. When I was a kid, I remembered it being a fun experience… and I still felt that way today! When I walked inside, I was greeted by a super friendly staff. A few of the girls kept talking to me about my blog and I was having so much fun sharing what I did with them. There was a “DJ” announcing fun contests and prizes. I saw a kid win a prize for having a hole in his sock! And when I was about to checkout, I got to spin the wheel for a discount code - $3 off! I felt like I walked away with a steal! Four new pairs of shoes, two sets of socks, two sodas, and less than $150 spent. Crazy! I’ll definitely be back. Thanks for having me, Shoe Carnival!
