Couture for a Cure
Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the 9th annual Couture for a Cure event put on by the Van Andel Institute. All proceeds from this event go to the institute's research to help battle cancer, Parkinson's and other diseases. The night consisted of a runway show showcasing the work of fashion designer, Kevan Hall, a strolling dinner of local cuisine and cocktails. Leigh's, a Grand Rapids based women's retailer, also put on an amazing runway collection featuring grey, knits, street-style and party attire. Super fun! I attended with my friend, Kate of Brilliantly Kate, and we had a great time. I love a fun, local, fashion-forward event, especially one that puts the funds to an amazing cause. xo
