Daylight Saving Begins

Hello! Happy Daylight Saving Time to all of you! This time of year always excites me to no end. Spring is so close, the days are getting longer, and life is good. We were in the 40's today, and it's supposed to hit the high 50's this week yet! Eeee! Last weekend was a good one. Friday night, we stayed home with our friends and made margaritas and talked for a while. Saturday, we headed out to the mall, picked up some new bedding, spent a little time at home, and grabbed pizza/drinks with different friends! Sunday is always our day for grocery shopping, laundry, and cleaning up, and we also went to see McFarland, USA with two of our other good friends, which was super good. I loved it! Plus, it was awesome seeing so many different sets of friends this weekend!

So, one of my worst pet peeves is happening in this outfit, and it was driving me crazy as I uploaded these photos! Whenever you wear a sleeved dress under a cardigan, and your arms look all lumpy. But it's just been too cold for only sleeved dresses, and no sweater/cardigan on top. Right now, I need a tank, a dress, a flannel, and a sweater just to stay moderately warm in Michigan. Oh well, I'll just look lumpy for another week. At least I'm warm!

So, anyone have any special plans for St. Patrick's Day? Grand Rapids usually gets a little crazy downtown, which can be fun. Eric's band is playing a show, so I'll probably end up there hanging out with some friends! The weekend after this one though... I'm off to Texas! I'm super excited for a fun weekend, and to see some of my favorite blogger friends that I don't get to see very often. It's going to be a perfect time to recharge, connect, and hopefully inspire myself with Selective Potential. Spring in itself will do that too, but I need a little motivation/inspiration! I'm sure spring and TxSC will clear that right up.

Alright - have a great rest of your week guys! I'll be back with a few posts this week, especially now that I have plenty of time after work to take photos! Woo! Now I'm off to watch the season finale of The Bachelor. I used to mock everyone that watched that show, and now I'm totally hooked. Gah. ;)
