There is time for everything

Hi guys! Happy Monday. I know things have been silent around here, but things are definitely not silent in "real life". Things are busy! I've been staying on top of this slimdown challenge, along with planning the last details of the wedding, along with working full-time and trying to breathe, and let me just say... it's tough. I fear it's going to be that way until after the big day, but I'll see what I can do in the meantime to get some posts up! Starting with this outfit here...

I pinned pretty much this exact outfit to my style inspiration board, because who doesn't have these pieces? Black jeans, a chambray top, a plaid scarf and some cute flats. The girl on Pinterest was wearing boots, but since it's seriously been summer-weather lately (except for the mornings), I went with flats. Even this scarf, I whipped off for the afternoon! It hasn't really felt like autumn at all here in Michigan, except for the donuts and cider tempting me at every corner and the fact that some of the leaves are changing. It's been such a warm September. I'm not complaining! I hope it goes right into October, but I am excited for more sweaters and socks!

Lately I keep telling myself "there is time for everything". It's kind of the motto of my brain right now. I really don't know how some women "do it all" because I'm exhausted. But honestly I'm too passionate to give up on any of my dreams. My dreams of being super healthy and in shape, having a full-time career as a graphic designer at a company of people I love being around everyday, of being a personal style/lifestyle blogger and traveling all around Michigan, of living in a super clean (yes I'm a Monica), perfectly put-together apartment, of being a better friend, daughter, pup mom, fiancée, soon to be wife. It's a daily struggle with a to-do list out the door, but I'm not giving up yet! Not on anything I love. You honestly just have to prioritize, let some things take a back seat, while other things take the front seat. And that's okay! I'm learning that that's okay as I get older. And remember,

I'll be back a few times this week! I still want to post a recap of the Runway on Wealthy event I attended last week, along with some really cute photos Tif took of Winny and I at our local coffee shop. I really need to make it a priority as well to head to ArtPrize, and put apple picking, pumpkin picking, cider drinking, and donut eating activities into my calendar! Happy autumn, everyone!
