Fitness with Schoola

Now that summer is over (and time is slowing down finally), I've been excited to get back into a healthier routine. I'm not ready to dive back into running yet, but I've been making it a goal to take Winny for more walks during the evening. Plus, it's so pretty outside right now with all of the falling leaves... so I really have no excuse not to! I've also been making meal plans, going to the grocery store more often, and cooking healthier meals at home. I always dive into a pretty intense plan the first of the year (along with everyone else), but right now it feels good to be active, and eating healthy, without taking it too seriously.

I'm excited to be collaborating with Schoola today to show off some Athleta fitness pieces! I know I've talked about Schoola before, but in short, they are a hybrid of an e-commerce online thrift store and a fundraising platform that gives 40% of their proceeds to benefit schools. Amazing, right? Their emphasis is on saving programs like art, music, field trips and physical education. Programs that may seem undervalued to some, but can make a huge impact on a child's development. With just a couple of clicks, they will send you a bag, postage-paid, to fill with kids’ and women’s clothing. It's free, easy, and they’ll take it from there! Right now, their Athleta collection benefits the The Malala Fund, which supports girls' education around the world.

I love this outfit for walking. The sweater is perfect for those chillier fall days, and has little finger holes to keep your hands warm. It's really cozy, and honestly I'd wear this with jeans and a pair of ankles booties for autumn too! Plus, it's brand new for only $32 (down from $128). These athletic pants are also super comfortable, and I love the bright pop of color. They are $22.39 (down from $64) and are brand new with tags. Also, I don't recommend running or performing any extensive exercise in chucks, but I love mine for walking. I also run all of my errands and grocery shopping in these shoes. ;)

Do you have any fitness goals before the new year begins? Or after? I'd be interested in hearing what works for you! And be sure to head over to Schoola to either shop or donate to benefit a great cause.
