Behind the Scenes with Meijer Style

A few weekends ago, Meijer invited me to participate in a two-day Meijer Style event with a few midwest bloggers including Blonde Bedhead, The HHS Feed, Natalie in the City, That Chic Lex and Live Love and Read. It was such a blast. We were spoiled with delicious meals at some of the best local restaurants in Grand Rapids, we stayed at the JW Marriott hotel, and were involved in so many fun activities including fall shopping, styling, photoshoots, and tutorials with Cover Girl and Pantene. I've shopped at Meijer my whole life, and it was so exciting to see a whole different side to them other than my weekly grocery trips. It was amazing the lengths they go through to choose different styles and trends, and it definitely gave me a greater appreciation for their clothing section!

Over the next couple of months, Meijer Style will be posting all about our fun photoshoots from the two days. You'll find tips on how to style a cold shoulder top, how to style socks + booties, and how to wear different items different ways. I'll be sure to link to each of the posts on my blog, but you can always check out their blog for inspiration anytime! These photos are just a few of the "behind-the-scenes" from the weekend. They set us up with a super cute picnic at Robinette's Apple Haus, and it was so beautifully "autumn" (even though we were shooting in 86º weather)!
