End of summer
Happy almost Friday! I'm just popping in with a quick post from last weekend. Eric and I were in Muskegon because he was playing a show by the beach. After the show, we ate some BBQ and went for a quick walk to the shoreline. The sunset was so pretty! And once the sun set too, it wasn't so hot, and felt amazing. Labor Day weekend was a blast. I never want to wish summers away, and this summer has been one of the best ones yet, but Labor Day weekend always means the end of summer to me. I was talking to my friend, Jen, about this and we agreed we wished all seasons just fit into three months. June, July, August... summer. September, October, November... autumn. December, January, February... winter. March, April, May... spring. I don't want winter in March, and I don't want summer in September. Those are my thoughts.
This dress from ASOS has been maybe my most worn dress this summer. I absolutely loooove it. It's so comfortable, and easy, and breezy, and all of the above. And you can eat all the BBQ and drink all the margs and nobody will ever know. They still have it available in a size 8, so if that's your size, head on ovaaa. You won't regret it, especially since the off-the-shoulder trend seems to be sticking around for a while. Yay!
Alright, I'm gonna head off to watch Netflix! I have a half vacation day tomorrow, and then I'm off to a wine and harvest festival where Eric is playing yet another show. But this time... I can drink lots of wine, and ride some carnival rides, and hopefully eat at some food tents. Why is it that food trucks/tents/festival food just tastes so much more amazing than any other food? I don't know the answers. All I know is that I'm excited. I'm going to bring my camera along too and hopefully snap a few pics! Otherwise, follow along on Insta, or Snapchat, where I'm pretty much only a deer. A crazy, lunatic deer. ;)
