Transitional seasons

Phew! This week is off and rolling! It's been busy so far (it's 10pm, and all I want to do is Netflix right now) but figured I'd hop on quick and update with this casual spring outfit. I wore this out and about and to grab burgers with friends on an outdoor patio. We're pretty much obsessed with outdoor patios this week... the weather has just been perfect! We're supposed to end April with a few thunderstorms, so I'm looking forward to that. And then we're onto MAY. May is my favorite spring month. Everything is so colorful, the tulip fields are in bloom, carnivals and outdoor events start to happen, and there's just so much good happening. I'm ready! Bring it on, May.

Olive green + blush pink is one of my favorite color combinations right now. Add a lil' tawny, and you've got my heart! I'm loving the color palette I chose for my closet, because honestly everything goes together. Olive green + ivory. Ivory + blush pink. Blush pink + navy blue. Black + olive green. Black + ivory. I still plan on talking about my experience with The Curated Closet, but I need to sit down and really write it out. I also want to show you how my closet looks now too, and I really need to pay IKEA a visit first to pick up a few baskets and organizational items. So I promise that post is coming soon! And a hair tutorial! I've gotten a lot of requests on that too.

Otherwise, not much is new! This past weekend was good. We saw a hockey game with friends, grabbed drinks at the new 7 Monks Taproom, took Winny for a long walk around the neighborhood, and did a little bit of shopping. I only bought one thing, and it was something that was on my pre-existing, well-thought out list. No more impulse buys! I'm such a smart lil' shopper now! ;) But yeah, I'm heading off! I am TIRED! I also have cherry pie and a comfy bed calling my name! Have a great Wednesday!
