Autumn denim
Sponsored by Zappos
It’s the season for apple orchards, cider doughnuts, hot cider, pumpkin spice coffee… and of course, all the denim! (Well, denim is a staple in every season!) We recently headed out to our local apple orchard to enjoy all of the above, along with the brisk autumn air we’ve been having in Michigan lately. I wore my new jeans from 7 For All Mankind from Zappos! I’ve been wearing a lot of wide leg denim lately, so I thought I’d snatch up a pair of high-waisted boyfriend jeans in a skinnier fit to go with some chunky sweaters and boots. These jeans are so comfy, stretchy, and I love the midnight moon dark wash for the upcoming cooler months.
I love visiting this place in autumn. The cinnamon sugar and pumpkin doughnuts are well worth the trip (and line) alone! We explored the apple orchards for a minute and waited in line for doughnuts and hot cider. I’m almost done checking everything off my October bucket list – what about you? I still have yet to watch a few of my favorite Halloween movies. Can you believe we’re so close to November though? We’ll be decorating for the holidays before we know it!
With everything going on in our lives lately – and not being able to live at home currently – my style is more casual than ever and I’m totally okay with that. I’ve been living in these jeans the last couple of weeks, because they are just so versatile and comfortable. The rolled cuff works easily with the couple of pairs of shoes I have right now. I only have a few things in my closet currently (everything else is being professionally cleaned) but thankfully I’ve been able to remix everything into quite a few different outfits!
Be sure to head over to Zappo’s to check out their 7 For All Mankind collection! I also picked up this darling front-tie top that I can’t wait to wear soon. It’s super cute, and will look adorable under a cozy, chunky cardigan (and these jeans, of course!) We’re heading up north next weekend to Traverse City/Northport area to do a little wine tasting and color touring… so I’ll definitely be bringing these items along for the trip!
