Hoplot

When we headed up north to Suttons Bay area, we did a little bit of wine tasting in the afternoon, grabbed brunch, and stopped to Hoplot! I loved hanging out here for a bit. We had the best autumnal vibes. Plus, they have the outdoor igloos where you can sit and hang outside with little space heaters… and be warm! So we grabbed our drinks inside (strawberry mead for me, yum) and reserved an igloo for a bit! We just hung out, snapped a few photos, warmed up for a bit, before heading back on the road to visit more wineries. Such a fun stop during our weekend up north!

I’m sad to see November go… but super excited for Christmas and all of the holiday festivities that December brings! We already have our tree up, and I’ve already watched three cheesy Netflix movies, so it feels like we’re in the thick of it already. I just need to get going on holiday shopping! I struggle every single year with gift ideas for people… but this year, we’re trying to scale back and stick to more of a budget, so I’m going to have to get extra creative (or just get gift cards, either one works, haha!) Have you started your holiday shopping yet?

But yeah — happy Friday! This felt like the longest week ever coming after last week’s short week. So I’m happy to have the next couple of days off. We have a few plans — a birthday party, brunch, and hopefully a little Christmas shopping! Otherwise, no major plans, and I’m excited to relax, sleep in, and hopefully catch up on some things around the apartment. What are you guys up to? Alright, signing off here.
