Sunday ritual with Pup-Peroni®

One thing I really love and look forward to is our Sunday ritual. It feels good to end the week in a healthy routine, and to get ready for a fresh week ahead. It’s our time to grab brunch, go grocery shopping, take Winny for a long walk, relax, nap, catch up on TV shows, and cook a yummy dinner or splurge and order takeout pizza for a cozy night in. Our Sunday usually begins with brunch. We love to hit up one of our favorite brunch spots and enjoy a cup of coffee together. After that is our weekly trip to Meijer. You’ll see us there every Sunday (or Saturday)! I usually love to hunt around the dog area in search of tough toys for Winny (how can such a small dog require such tough toys?!) and to pick up dog food and yummy treats for the week. The Pup-Peroni treats were right in the treat aisle of the pet area and super easy to find. I knew Winny would love them – she loves meaty, delicious treats! And bonus, they are made in the USA!

Winny loves her treats, but what pup doesn’t right? We typically give Winny treats before bed and whenever we leave for a few hours and she’ll be home alone, but we also like to give her treats after a long walk or a little playtime! She also learned her handshake and a few other tricks (sit, stay, down) with treats too… and these are perfect for training because they are smaller in size! On Sundays, we typically go for a long walk around our neighborhood. I love to look at all of the old historic homes, and Winny loves to visit Pleasant Park. Lots of other pups walk there, so she goes into sniffing heaven! It’s a great way to burn off some of her energy and get some fresh air for the both of us. After our walks, we’ll usually grab some water and treats… and settle in for a night of relaxation! That’s usually my time to catch up on TV shows and to get to bed early for the week ahead.

We also typically get caught up on chores and laundry on Sunday. Maybe take a trip to the dog park, or take a walk around Reeds Lake. Grab an almond milk chai latte somewhere.
