10x10 | Outfit 1

I'm a couple of days behind... but here's my first outfit of the 10x10 challenge! Since we had some dry weather this weekend, I thought it'd be a good time to bring out this dress. I'm not sure what the weather is going to hold over the next week (looks like maybe some rain or snow) so I thought I'd knock this one out while I had the chance! Most of my looks will incorporate jeans (which are my usual anyway) so that'll be safer for cold weather! Even though it was 33º when we shot these photos. Brr! The three pieces from my 10x10 are this floral Madewell dress, my denim jacket, and my mules. For accessories, I paired my small tote, some cute earrings from Rebels Mark and my brimmed hat from Gigi Pip! (If you missed my intro to the 10x10, you can read it here!)

Did you guys have a good weekend? Ours was pretty good! Eric had shows all weekend, and I had no plans, so I stayed in mostly! I got caught up on a lot of chores and loads of laundry, ordered some pizza in, enjoyed some wine, watched Forrest Gump, binge-watched the rest of season three of Love (so good!) and that's about it. For Easter, we went to church and went to Eric's parent's house for brunch. Easter isn't my favorite holiday, but the food is some of the best... deviled eggs and carrot cake? YUM. After a day of indulging though, I'm excited to get back into a normal food routine tomorrow. One of the perks of weekdays... it's so much easier to eat healthy!

My friend, Marissa, launched a jewelry and accessories company called Rebels Mark. I love how affordable all of the pieces are... and everything is super cute! She started the company for women who were sick of doubting and comparing themselves. It began with the intention of bringing together both simple and bold accessories to help women look and feel amazing. All of their products are intentionally named after strong, independent, beautiful women that make a difference in the world around them. I love that! These earrings I'm wearing are actually named Tifani, after one of my very favorite ladies. She used to take a lot of photos for Selective Potential, and she's wildly talented and SO kind. Not much else is new though! It's going to be strange chatting here when I have to blog all ten outfits of this challenge. Hahaha, I might have to share more photos than words this next week. I'm very excited it's April though! I just really want this weather to warm up... rain... or do something! It's been so cold and windy. At least we've been getting some sunshine though. Mmk... I'm off to watch American Idol, eat grapes and drink an almond milk chai latte in bed (my normal routine). Hope you guys have a great week ahead... and I'll be back lots!
