How I wear white (sneakers)

The last of the blooms are out, we’re creepin up into those 70-degree days… summer is on the way! And a pair of fresh white sneaks is the perfect way to start off summer style! I recently picked up this pair of roxy Bayshore Sneakers from Famous Footwear… and I’m loving them! They’re the perfect, simple white sneaker and they are so comfortable – probably my most comfortable pair of shoes right now! So they’ll be perfect for all of our summer adventures! Road trips, riding bikes, walks to get ice-cream, I’m excited for all the fun this season brings!

I’ve been wearing this outfit combination a lot lately – it’s so simple and classic! Black denim, a black tee, my jean jacket and some simple white sneakers. It’s always easy to throw together, and is comfortable enough for a day of adventuring or road tripping or whatever else we’re up to! What are some of your favorite summer things to do? I love the simple things of summer – riding with the windows down, heading to an outdoor concert, driving up north to take in the sights, swimming in Lake Michigan, watching fireworks, grabbing an ice-cream, ALL the things!

I’ve been on the hunt for a few new dresses… thinking these shoes would look super cute with a simple chambray dress, or even a black cotton wrap dress. Excited for summer style, even though my wardrobe tends to be pretty simple! It’s easier to layer up in fall/spring, but summer is still one of my favorite seasons to get dressed!
