Apple orchards
When I was back in Grand Rapids for a couple of weeks, I knew I had to do all the autumn things, which of course, includes apple orchards and pumpkin patches (pumpkin patch post to come). One of my favorite places to go every year is Robinette’s Apple Haus… pretty sure I’ve been here every year since I started my blog. This place is just so charming — apple orchards, cider doughnuts, apple cider, autumn leaves, fall vibes. But yeah, perfect timing, went on a Sunday when the weather was perfect right before they were about to close… barely a wait for doughnuts, wore my favorite plaid coat, all the good!
I know I say this often, but I’m way backlogged (or backblogged? lol) so I’m going to try and get caught up and not take photos for a few seconds here, which is so hard for me to do. I want to adventure every weekend while I’m UP here in Marquette but that’s just getting me further and further behind. Hahaha. So! I think I’m going to take the next little bit here to get caught up. I want to not be almost a month out between the blog and Instagram and IG stories, hahaha. Not that it really matters, but so much has happened since I’ve been here at the apple orchards. Anywhooo! Soaking up fall for as long as I can, until Thanksgiving, of course. Because winter/Christmas definitely doesn’t start until the day after Thanksgiving. 😉
I wasn’t sure if I should pair this plaid jacket with my wide leg jeans, didn’t know if it’d be too many “oversized” things, but this look got a lot of love on Instagram! I think it’s also the combination of pattern mixing, which I need to do more often. I used to do a ton of it back in my early blogging days, but not so much anymore! I tend to stick to a lot of solid earthy colors these days. It’s nice having a more curated wardrobe though of things that mix and match easily; it allows me to have less items but more looks, if that makes sense at all. Yaknowwhaddamean? Anyway. I’m very distracted right now, so I’m going to sign off here! I’ll be back with pumpkins.
