A corner downtown
Hi, hi! Phew, it’s been a minute since I’ve popped in with a regular ol’ outfit post and not a day trip or some adventure around the Yoop! I’ve always gravitated toward this little corner downtown though, so I figured I’d swing over while I was dressed in something other than sherpa-lined leggings and my giant parka. Haha! Apparently we’ve had a “very rare” amount of sunshine here in Marquette, so I’ve been embracing every second of it that I can. Granted it was cold this day, and I was not fully dressed appropriately for extended outdoor time, but for the little things I did this afternoon (coffee and a visit with a friend), it was great! This was the first day you could go inside to have a coffee too… and holy moly, what a treat that was!
So yeah, halfway through Round 5 in Marquette. Time is flying. This has been one of my favorite months here, and my favorite winter month here by far. We’ve just had some really cool weather… ice freezing over by the Ore Dock so you could go ice-skating, gorgeous sunshine, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, just lots of fun. I’ve really loved this month. Otherwise… I’m just sort of figuring out the future and extending my time here as long as possible, spent Valentine’s Day on a solo lady date which ended up being a wonderful day, working on some fun collaborations, took a quick trip to Houghton, planning a fun weekend with Escanaba, just lots of FUN coming up! Stay warm + find the beauty in this season while it’s here!
