Hi hi hi! So phew, life has been busy! I was downstate in Muskegon for a week and a half watching my Dad’s house while they were traveling, and now I’m back up in MQT for Round VIII but I have a couple of blog posts to wrap up from MQT VII before I can move on! So let’s do that quick, shall we?! We’ve been having some transitional weather here in MQT, but it’s fully in bloom down in West Michigan. It’ll be nice to experience two springs this year! But yeah, I can sort of pull off weird things here now… like Carhartt beanies and flats, with no coat. Hahaha. I like that. I always love dressing for the transitional seasons. I took these photos at a super cute spot down by the Cinder Pond Marina. I love the grungy nautical vibes!

I finally brought up all of my clothes with me to MQT, whereas before I was just living on ~30 items a month or so. I love having the capsule wardrobes, but it’s been fun to have my full closet again. I hadn’t worn this denim jacket in a while and was excited to bust it out. It’s still for sale on Madewell’s website too! I love the oversized fit of this one. But yeah, style is pretty consistent and maybe getting more and more casual by the year. It’s funny keeping up a personal style blog when all I wear really is jeans + tops, but oof. It’s all I want to wear and I’m sure some of you can relate. I recently just made a stop to Madewell and Old Navy while I was in GR and bought four new sweatshirts. Like, oooh, exciting Tieka. 😂

But yeah, wrapping up this outfit post… and I have another biiig blog post coming from my full weekend in Escanaba/Delta County, so stay tuned. I’m hoping to get that up this week. And then we move into West Michigan content, which was SO fun to shoot all week long. Three different lighthouses, tulip fields, the blockhouse, etc. I’m excited. I absolutely love exploring every inch of the UP, but it’s really fun to take that mindset/mentality with me when I go downstate to see friends and family. Anyway, I’ll update more on that later.
