Phewwwwww! I’m back! At least for this blog post. 😆 I can’t fully decide if I want to throw myself back into the blog or not? Focus more on TikTok? Travel content? Personal style? All of the above? I think I need to run a poll on social media and ask you all! Anyway, here I am. I have yet to miss an autumn on Selective Potential, and couldn't dare this year, even though I’ve taken almost an entire year off from shooting with my DSLR camera. But hi! I’m here! Just been busy lately… focusing on some other side projects! I’ve been helping out at Upper Peninsula Supply Co., posting stories/TikToks, pretty embedded into a running routine right now (just finished a 10K on Grand Island!), and have some busy weeks coming up with Fresh Coast Film Festival, fall goals, and a collaboration with Visit Keweenaw. And I moved this summer into my apartment in Marquette… which has been such a wonderful thing. I’ve loved throwing myself into home decor + getting into routines there! But life is good! Happy to be here!

Harlow Lake is one of my favorite spots to visit this time of year… because I know the color pops here earlier! Or at least you can get a glimpse of it earlier! But colors are definitely starting to change in the Upper Peninsula. All the cozy fall vibes. I felt a bit of nostalgia taking out my camera and tripod, it’s definitely been a minute! I was a little rusty shuffling through some camera settings. 😆 But this is such a great place for a walk, a hike, a run, or to get some good photos! Plus it’s just off 550, about 15 minutes from downtown Marquette, and it’s very picturesque and a great place to catch the sunset.

My style really has not changed in the last several years, so I don’t know! It’s just not much new to report on there. I’m all about my denim, sweaters, boots, earth tones, monochromatic looks, and casual low-key vibes. Especially living here in the Upper Peninsula. I like to get outdoors a lot so I like to be comfy and prepared! But yeah, we’ll see how often I pop in here! But be sure to stay tuned on Instagram. I post daily stories there!
