Harlow Lake
Harlow Lake has become a bit of a tradition for me, marking the third year I’ve sort of kicked off my autumn outfit posts here. With its inland location, it’s always one of the first spots to show off the fall colors, even though this year we're a bit behind schedule in the Upper Peninsula. I’m hoping the leaves don't drop before they reach their peak! Thankfully, the colors at Harlow Lake were stunning, and the warm October evening made it perfect for snapping some photos in my new favorite fall look—this cozy green cardigan from Target, styled with my wide-leg jeans, which I haven’t worn in ages!
Life lately has been a fun blend of seasonal adventures and cozy moments. This weekend, I joined the community in Marquette for a big group photo for Plaidurday (the worldwide celebration of wearing plaid on the first Friday of every October) at South Beach, and soaked in the crisp fall air with friends. I’ve also been baking cookies, catching sunsets, lighting my Autumn Harvest candle, and sipping on Witches Brew—all while making time for upcoming autumn plans and trips. Between working on the blog, running along the lakeshore trail, and enjoying a few quiet evenings at home, it’s felt like the perfect balance of relaxation and productivity. October really is the dreamiest freaking month. 🍂
