Lovers Lane

I had no idea there was a lovers lane in Grand Haven until just a few weeks ago! You drive up past the whole touristy part of the beach and take a left onto a private drive. There is a white fence that says "lovers lane" and you head up toward the gorgeous houses on the dunes with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan! It's really quite a pretty drive! It has been thunderstorming all day long. Lightning, thunder - I got home and took a nap and woke up to a gorgeous sunset. It was even raining while the sun was out - I loved the atmosphere of tonight. Spring is such a perfect season.

Just a few things to announce! I did a little blogger interview over at MouseVox Vintage, so be sure to head over and check that out! I'm also part of the blog crush over at ThreadSence! That means I'll have a heads up on sales, coupons and deals for you guys!

I love this rose-hued skirt. The material, the shape, everything about it fits my body perfectly. And the color goes with so many items in my closet. I can't wait to style it up again (soon!) This strapless tank-top was the first thing I ever purchased from Forever 21 - when I was like 17. I've had it for so long! It's probably the only item I have this old. I just love the flower detailing on it. I still have to bundle up in cardigans for right now - there is still a little bit of a chill in the air!

I received these flowers from the studio excellence dinner and they were dying, so I thought I'd have a fun little shoot with them. This idea isn't mine! I had some major inspiration from Pandora's shoot she did on her blog. Her photos are just so amazing - and she's stunning! Seriously a huge inspiration. People driving past us must have thought we were crazy scattering flowers all over the road. When we left, I put them in someone's newspaper box. Hope they enjoy! :)
