Living in a small town
Last weekend, before the snow hit, Brett and I took a little stroll downtown and purchased some hot drinks at our local coffee shop! We were insanely excited, well I was, because of our new sidewalks! Our downtown area has been destroyed since last spring during reconstruction and we now have new roads and heated sidewalks! I kept bending down and putting my hands on them because I was so excited the sidewalks weren't cold! Ah, the excitement of a small town life!
See the building in the background? That's where Brett and I had our wedding reception! It is an old piano factory converted into shops and a cute italian restaurant. We had our reception upstairs at the grand hall; so pretty. It's so fun that we live just five minutes away from where we had our reception. As much as I'd love to live in the city some days, it's really comforting to live here in our small beach town. There are so many amazing memories of my life with Brett here.
This is my favorite outfit lately. I've been wearing it at least once a week to work. This skirt was only $9.80 at Forever 21 and I absolutely adore it. The colors are just perfect! I also had a Formspring question the other day that asked what my new favorite shoes were... and here they are. I just love the vintage vibe they have! Plus, they are so comfortable and of course... flat and easy to walk in with all of the snow and ice we have right now! Have a happy Friday tomorrow, guys!
