Frances Jaye Holiday: Part Two
For my second post in the holiday series with local boutique, Frances Jaye, I decided to a "date night out" look! One of my favorite things about Frances Jaye is their selection of men's stuff, so I thought it'd be fun to have Eric style up a look as well! When we headed to Frances Jaye to style up the outfits, we were both so excited. It was like letting two kids free in a candy shop! I love having a boyfriend who likes to shop as much as I do. ;)
We headed downtown to Rosa Parks Circle, and to our local art museum. It's such a beautiful spot to take photos, especially at night. We got really lucky because there were twinkly lights already up on the trees! It's so fun to walk around the city and see a lot of the Christmas decorations going up. Personally I'm not there just yet, but it's fun to see other people getting into the season. I always buy my Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving and go nuts. But until then… autumn all the way!
When I spotted this dress at Frances Jaye, I fell in love right away. I always like an interesting back on a dress, and the hunter green and lace sleeves were too much to pass up. I tried styling it several ways with a blazer, a scarf… but I didn't want to cover up the best parts of this dress! So, I kept it simple. Black dotted tights, and simple black heels. I'd love to wear this to an upcoming holiday party!
For those of who you are local, be sure to come on out to A Night Out at Frances Jaye in Holland, Michigan! I'll be there, along with Jenny (the owner), giving out styling tips. There will be a 10% discount, drinks and snacks. It should be a super fun night out. I love Holland, Michigan too. Their little shopping district is so cute for a stroll, to pick up a hot coffee at Lemonjellos and a sweet treat at the Peanut Store!
I have one more outfit pre-event for the Frances Jaye series, and then I'll have fun photos to share from the event! Again, thanks to Frances Jaye for this wonderful opportunity to collaborate together. And thank you to Eric for going on a cold photoshoot date with me on this night. Afterwards, we grabbed burgers at Grand Rapids Brewing Company. We keep our date nights pretty simple. And I love that. ;)
