A wintry day
It's a winter wonderland! It has been nonstop snowing. I love it. This weekend was pretty hectic. Friday night, we had two parties to attend - one for a friend's birthday and another for a friend's Christmas pot luck. It was fun! Saturday, we attempted to head out to Frankenmuth to visit the world's largest Christmas store, but unfortunately we didn't make it. We drove for about an hour (in a crazy blizzard) and one of Eric's coils blew on his car. We couldn't continue to drive it and were panicked! Thank goodness a local repair shop helped and it was under $100 to fix, rather than the $250 bill we were quoted to have it towed back to the city. Ah! I'm super thankful for that mom-and-pop shop that really helped us out.
We took these pictures while we were out doing our traditional Sunday grocery shopping. I've been bundling up like crazy lately, and I honesty don't mind winter half as much if I prepare for it! I received three new pieces from Boden to style up for a look - this sweater, hat and a polka dot shirt I'm wearing under the sweater. I was too cold to take off my coat on this day. I fear we're going to be seeing a lot of my winter coats this season.
