Rockford Dam Overlook
This weekend has been quite wonderful. We've had amazing weather in Michigan. The hot temperatures have finally cooled down and we're getting a taste of autumn and I'm loving it. To be honest, I'm quite over dressing for 90 degree days. Being able to throw on a pair of jeans and a blazer was perfection. I took a trip to Rockford with Eric to stroll around and check out the Rockford Dam Overlook. It's definitely one of the highlights of Rockford and gives you a great vantage point of the Rogue River.
I'm pretty excited because this is the last week of typical "summer" posts I'll have on the blog. Next weekend, I'm taking a big trip to the east side of Michigan and those posts will take me until fashion week... and then I'll have fun posts from NYC. Usually when I get home from fashion week, there are major hints of autumn in Michigan. I'm really excited for the upcoming season. I have so many ideas planned in my mind. It's the best season of the year!
Hm, what else is new? Eric is looking pretty "mountain man" lately. I loved being able to spend some time with my best friend, Jen, who was visiting from Colorado. I donated two full cars of items to Goodwill {trying to finally get organized}. I've been in and out of the eye doctor for blurry vision and uncomfortable eyes... and I stopped drinking diet pop and wearing my contacts at work and I'm cured. Weird, right? And... I'm counting the days until the new Minus the Bear album comes out!
