The apple orchards
Last weekend, Eric and I headed out to the apple orchards with our friend, Tifani of Tifani Lyn Photography! It was so dark outside all day and I was worried we weren't going to be able to make the shoot work, but the overcast skies turned out to be great for photos! I will admit I was a bit cold not wearing any tights. Michigan has really cooled down this past week. But the colors right now are so beautiful, so it's worth it!
Eric is always such a great sport when it comes to taking photos with me! I have so many insanely creative (and talented) friends, and I love getting the chance to collaborate and work with them on something! Tifani is the sweetest gal ever. We usually get to hang out with her and her husband, Nic, once a week for dinner and drinks, which I love! Be sure to check out her newly designed photography site!
If you're wondering, we shot these photos at Robinette's Apple Haus. Here's a full post on Robinette's from last year, where I'm wearing this same exact dress actually! They have the most beautiful white blossoms during spring, perfect rows of fallen apples in autumn, and snow-covered trees in winter. It's definitely my go-to place in Grand Rapids to take photos - that's for sure!
Thank you again to Tifani for shooting photos of Eric and I together! Now I need to decide which ones I want to print and frame for our apartment! I'll be back tomorrow with photos from our day at the pumpkin patch. I'm slowly crossing things off my October bucket list! Eric so kindly watched "The Haunted Mansion" with me last night. For whatever reason, I just love that movie. I'm a sucker for Disney. Ha! Plus, we also watched the 1976 version of Carrie. It definitely wasn't as scary as I remembered as a kid! I have a few more goals to accomplish... but I'm not going to rush it. I'm just going to enjoy every last second of this perfect month!
