Autumn wedding

It's rare you get to dress up a little in autumn, so I was thrilled when we got invited to an October wedding! I may be biased, but I think this is the best month for a wedding. ;) It was a perfect weekend though. Two of our friends got married. They had amazing weather, the ceremony was beautiful, and they served coffee and desserts for the reception. I loved it! We had such a great time.

I haven't worn this dress in five years. Five years! Man, how time flies. It's one of those dresses that feels slightly too fancy to wear during the day (maybe because of the length?)  but I was excited to pull it out finally! I paired it with my favorite Free People plaid coat, which is the coziest coat ever, and these olive green heels that I love from ModCloth. I think my next goal is to unfancy this dress, and maybe pair it with a pair of ankle booties and a leather jacket. Any other suggestions?!

Also, yesterday was our anniversary... so happy first anniversary to us! The year honestly flew! To celebrate, we went to dinner at Vander Mill. We ended up just sitting at the bar, trying different ciders, and eating way too much food. We didn't even tell the bartender it was our anniversary, but she packaged up a growler of apple raspberry cider to go because she had so much fun serving us that night. It was the perfect night. And now we're onto year two!
