Burgundy + brick
It's been snowing! I know you can't tell in these photos, except for a few snowflakes, but an hour after this, the entire city was a winter wonderland. I almost wish we had waited to take photos! But, alas, here we are. Same ol' same ol' brick wall, and a super quick outfit post, in not my favorite outfit ever. That's okay. It happens to the best of us. On this day, we were quickly walking from the car to the coffee shop so I could work on a few blog posts and edit some photos. I love grabbing a warm beverage, and cozying up in a room full of people plugging away at work. Plus, it's a great way to get out of the house for a little bit!
This burgundy dress is an oldie, but goodie! I think next time I'd pair a jacket over it, instead of this cardigan. The last time I wore this cardigan was with a sleeveless denim top, and jeans, and I like how that turned out a bit more. I really need to go through my closet again now that autumn is nearing the end. I typically put away my burnt orange pieces, and bring out more of my favorite winter colors like burgundy, navy, darker greens and neutrals. I'm excited for winter, but this is definitely the time of year I struggle most with getting dressed. I'm going to challenge myself to make the most of it though, and try to not be so lazy with my style. Hold me accountable, blog! ;)
I hope you've all been having a good week so far! It's been pretty chill for us. Cooking dinner at home, catching up on chores, pluggin' away at the blog (it's been busy + good lately!), and trying to cure my three-week long headache. Have any of you had a headache for that long? It's freaking me out! I've always had TMJ (stupid achey jaw), so I think that's maybe causing it. It could also be anxiety, or a headache left over from my vertigo earlier this month. I'm just a basket of fun, aren't I? Haha! Thanks for reading along... ;)
