Golden hour
This past weekend was such a good one! I'm loving this transition to spring. I'm more ready than ever for warm weather, and our planned trips and adventures. On Friday night, Eric and I walked down to Donkey for tacos and margaritas. Afterwards, we went for cocktails at Long Road Distillers. I need to do blog posts at both of these places soon! I was just looking at my Michigan page, and realized how sad the 'west central Michigan' category is, especially since I live here! OH! Also, brag moment: see that billboard in the background? It's for a United Way campaign, and guess who designed it? Me! It's so awesome to have your work displayed in such a huge format like that. I get so excited every time I drive by it!
That Michigan page is going to fill up fast this summer though. Our calendar is already kind of insane with plans, and I'm SO READY. We're taking a small trip this weekend though that I'm really excited for! We'll be spending a night in downtown Ann Arbor, and then on our way home we'll be exploring U.S. Route 12 (aka; "Michigan's forgotten highway") and all of the abandoned places and quirky tourist traps along the way. I can't wait! If you have any recommendations in Ann Arbor or Irish Hills, let me know in the comments!
This off-the-shoulder top is another purchase from the Target x Who What Wear collection. It's such great quality, and I love it! It's a bit hard to keep "off the shoulders" though. Anytime I'd go to the bathroom, or sit down in the car, the shirt would pop up and look like a normal black blouse. Haha! It's still a cute top either way, so that's a bonus. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it's available on their website anymore though. I also just bought a cute black off-the-shoulders dress from ASOS. I'm kind of obsessed with this trend right now! And these new clogs of mine. Swoon!
