Happy(ish) Monday! Not sure how happy Mondays can be, but here we are! I'm finally getting around to sharing some photos we took last weekend, before autumn EXPLODED here in Grand Rapids! It's crazy how everything changed overnight, and it's been in the upper 80s? I don't understand at all! I think this weird mix of weather (40 degree mornings, 85 degree nights) has me feeling not great, so I was completely unproductive this weekend, and ended up binge-watching Gilmore Girls for almost 8 straight hours. Plus, even though I've been working out for over two months, this past week wrecked me! I was so sore I could barely move all weekend. Ah well, things are good, and I was able to rest and rejuvenate today and hopefully get back into the swing of things tomorrow.
Things are definitely looking like autumn, but definitely not feeling like autumn. We've been cranking the air conditioning and living in our bedroom again because the 85+ degree temps are BACK. It's not even a fun Indian summer vibe, it's just like... hot hot hot summer with falling leaves. It's just blowing my mind slightly. I'd really love those sixty-degree temperatures right about now, and for the trees to last at least a little bit into October! Autumn temps, WRU? I've been able to at least bring out some of my fun autumn items, sans tights so far. I picked up this denim skirt from Madewell a few weeks ago and love it! So cute and really easy to style up.
This week looks busy, so I really have to get my butt in gear! I'll be attending an event called The Shop or Swap Event on Thursday with a rack of clothes you can shop right from my closet! So if you're near the Hudsonville area, be sure to stop by! It should be a great time. It's $5 at the door, and you can either bring a bag of clothes to drop off/swap with others OR you can just show up and do a little shopping too! Totally up to you.
