All-Natural Food for Winny

In an attempt to prepare healthy meals every night for Eric and I… I realized Winny should be part of that! Winny is a super healthy pup, but we’ve never been super picky on her food. When I learned more about Freshpet and their all-natural, real, pet food, I knew we had to give it a try! So far, she loves it, and we’ve had no issues with switching over! (We’ve had issues in the past with trying to switch to other foods, so this is a win.) She gets more excited about dinnertime than ever (I would too vs. the hard kibble!) and I’m excited about giving her a natural option.

As soon as I pulled the packaging out of the fridge, Winny came running! She knew she was in for a treat. We tried the Tender Beef Recipe, which is made from shredded sweet potatoes and vitamin-rich green beans and carrots. There are no meat meals or by-products, and you can see the ingredients right in the food! It’s also made locally in their Freshpet kitchens in Bethlehem, PA. So it’s nice buying something that’s made right here in the states.

We also try to get Winny out for walks as often as we can — to keep her active! She’s a small dog, so she runs around our apartment a lot. She absolutely loves fetch, and will sit there staring off into the distance until you throw her toy. It’s so funny. We give her treats a few times a day… always before bed, and anytime we leave for a few hours. Freshpet also has yummy treats for dogs available.
