10x10 | Outfit 3
Hi friends! I'm slacking on this challenge (I think it ended days ago, haha) but just like everything else... I'm moving along at my own pace! I'm going to blog five outfits total from the challenge, and then do a little recap at the end with ALL the looks I wore/planned. As much as I'd love to blog/take photos everyday, there's just no way it's going to happen. Between my full-time job and my workout schedule, I really appreciate days where I can just head home afterwards, put on my comfy pants, and chill out in bed with a book or some Netflix! But in the meantime, here we are! Outfit #3!
I wore this outfit out for a celebratory night with Eric! There was nothing really specific to celebrate, I just felt like we deserved a little night out. I've been working so hard these last several months, and I still have a way to go, but I'm just feeling so proud of this journey I'm on! 31 is definitely my year! I hit 30 pounds loss last Wednesday (which I'll be blogging about soon, promise!) and we're almost half way through paying off all of our debt. I'm not sure what clicked this year, but I'm just so grateful. I finally got myself on a plan with everything, and it's working. It's the best feeling ever for this type 3 achiever.
For our night out, we went to Cottage Bar, which is one of my favorites! It's the oldest bar in Grand Rapids, and it just feels like you're in a small town when you're there. I kind of consider myself a small-towner, even though I live in a pretty big city, so any sort of small-town feeling I can get... I'm all for it. Plus, the burgers are delicious! So we devoured those, and then went to see "A Quiet Place" which was so creepy and good! So that was a fun night. I wore this outfit, which was perfect, because these jeans are so comfortable and stretchy – just enough to fit burgers AND popcorn in! ;)
I'll be back with two more outfits + a recap soon! We're headed to Detroit this weekend, so I'm really excited to visit! I've been a bunch of times for a ball game, or a quick trip, but never to stay overnight and explore the city. I've gotten a ton of great recommendations, so I have a big list... and I'm excited to tackle as much as we can while we're there! Be sure to follow along on Instagram for some updates... and I'll be back soon! Thanks as always for reading and supporting this blog. It honestly means so much!
