A trip to the apple orchard
Onto the best season… of apple orchards, cider mills, cozy sweaters and of course, comfortable and casual boots for the colder seasons ahead! I’m always excited to switch over my sandals for a pair of ankle boots when autumn hits! Eric and I are both styling some options from Blundstone USA – a company established in Tasmania. They have boots that are rugged and iconic enough that work for a hike on a trail or on a rainy street when you’re walking downtown. We wore ours out to one of our favorite apple orchards to take part in some autumn fun! 🍎

We’re definitely seeing a ton of autumn color here in Michigan! We’ve had some cooler temperatures too, so I’ve been able to switch over my wardrobe to bring out the big, chunky cardigans, flannels, dark-wash denim, and of course… all the boots! I’m styling up Blundstone’s Women's Series Heeled Boot in Black, Style 1671. They’re rugged, yet have a feminine feel that I can pair with lots of different looks this autumn! They have a sleek design, and contoured fit. I sized up a half size so I could pair some cozy socks with these and wear them all fall/winter long! I can definitely see myself styling these with a cute dark floral dress and an olive green jacket… so many options for a pair of classic black boots like these!
Eric decided to go for the Men's Dress Series in Rustic Brown, Style 1306. He wears a lot of earthy colors… browns, blues, greens, so these are the perfect fit for his style/wardrobe. These boots have a lean profile with a square toe, and they’re made for those who walk from the woods to dinner… which is exactly what we did! After we did a little bit of apple picking at the orchard, we went to dinner at a local restaurant with a fun and swanky outdoor patio. These boots fit the bill for both occasions! We’ll definitely have these shoes for years to come… the quality is amazing, and the style is classic enough to stay through different trends!
Well… autumn is off and running! I have a large list of things I can’t wait to do. Now, I can knock off “visit the apple orchard” from my list! But we’ll definitely be back to this spot this autumn, to grab donuts, drink a hot apple cider, do a little wine tasting. Is visiting an apple orchard on your autumn to-do list? Be sure to check out Blundstone’s website if you’re looking for a new pair of boots this season! I’ll be back with more autumn content… ah, it’s just the best month of the entire year! 🍂
