Phew! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve gotten a blog post up! This summer is absolutely flying. I’ve been so busy with everything that just trying to keep up with Instagram alone has been challenging! So I took these photos on June 9 (hahaha) so yeah, I’m a bit behind that’s for sure. I’ve been trying to get out more with my tripod, but it just takes 100x longer to shoot a post. But it’s better than nothing! And I contemplated not even posting these because it was SO humid and my hair just instantly turned to frizz, but oh well. After blogging for almost 10 years now, I realize you can’t perfect them all!
I got this oversized emerald top from Tradlands at the beginning of the season, but just now realizing they’re almost already sold out! I love their pieces though — such quality, classic items that you’ll keep in your wardrobe as staples! I don’t really own much of anything green either — unless it’s more of an olive color. So this is a fun color to wear for a change! I’ve still been rocking denim when I can too, but it’s been suuuper hot the last couple of weeks. I actually bought a new pair of shorts from Madewell, and I’ve been wearing more dresses! Other than being busy with social summer plans, not much else is new! I’m on my last week of being 32… eep! I absolutely love my thirties though; and would love to just freeze time where I am right now. It’s been such a fun decade so far. Normally I feel like I’m either living in the past, or living in the future, so it’s kind of weird to be so excited about the present, but it’s such a good thing. I’m truly just enjoying summer, still striving toward my goals but not taking them as seriously as I normally do, and once fall hits, I’ll get right back to it, but for right now… I’m all about having fun, soaking up summer, spending a little money, hanging out with friends. I’m here for it. 🙌🏻
