Lilac that blooms
Hello! Ugh, we’re onto the first day of July… and I’m still playing catch up from May. Haha! But thankfully this is my final post from spring… and any new content from here on out will be current! Woo! But yeah, I wanted to blog this one because a) I love lilac bushes and the scent is 🙌🏻 and b) I pretty much wear this outfit on a constant rotation so it’s not irrelevant, haha. These jeans are my absolute favorite I’ve gotten from Madewell in a while, and I just love these sneaks too. So yeah! Spring really flew by quickly. Even with everything going on in the world and how challenging it was, I enjoyed the season overall. I had a lot of self-growth and got into a really good routine. Lots of learning + slowing down, that’s for sure. But I’m excited summer is here!
So July… looks like a very chill month with plans. I’ve been spending time with close friends and family and I have dined out twice, but I’ve been low-key otherwise. I don’t go to bars, or hang out in large groups of people obviously. Always wearing my mask when out and about. I’m heading up north this weekend to go camping/boating with friends, but I still plan to be cautious and keep my space, except for my quaranteam that I’ve been hanging out with. As much as I live for ratchet ass nights in the summer, this one is just going to be different. More takeout, private hangs, beach days, cooking at home, getting outside to run, taking it slow, etc. No usual weekend trips. I have one trip planned for Labor Day weekend to Sault Ste. Marie, and I’m crossing my fingers that one even happens. We’ll see!
I hope you’re all hanging in there and taking care of yourself! Thanks for continuing to stop by, even though I know I haven’t blogged much lately, my style is literally jeans + tops lately, haha, and I’m kind of boring. 🤣 I like boring though a little bit. Well maybe not boring, but I love routine and simplicity, in pretty much everything. Home decor, personal style, life, friends, plans, etc. Finding joy in the small things is what makes the everyday more enjoyable, in my opinion. Anyway, I’ll be off until after the weekend of the 4th, and then I plan to start taking photos again and blogging more often! In the meantime, I’ll be active over on Instagram with posts/stories. Have a great holiday! xo
