Pizza flight night
Hiiiiii there! I’m publishing my second blog post using ALL iPhone photos. 😬 I never do this, but I’ve been relying pretty heavily on my phone lately since I’ve been so on-the-go. Sometimes it’s easier for other people to help with photos using my iPhone vs. hauling out my DSLR, etc. So yeah, here we are! This was just a very spontaneous night out for a pizza flight and drinks at The Mitten Brewing Co. I’ve been eating/drinking out this summer, but like 95% outside. I feel like this is the summer of outdoor patios. 🙌🏻 But yeah, Mitten has an amazing "pizza flight” where you can choose up to 6 different pizzas. And they’re all SO GOOD. My favorites are Curse of the Goat and Hog Heaven, lol. They also have a red-wine sangria which is a life-saver, since I don’t like beer. Definitely recommend if you’re on the west side!
I got quite a few questions about this outfit on Instagram… so unfortunately the top is sold out. I got it on sale last spring. (Be sure to follow my closet Pinterest board to see all the things I’m buying ASAP!) Madewell is having some crazy sales right now though — up to 75% off! I wish I wanted to shop more summer clothes, but I’m definitely feeling the fall vibes in terms of shopping. I did pick up a cute quilted jacket though I can wear this fall for like $30 down from $130. It’s crazy. I live for those Madewell sales. 🙌🏻 But yeah, keeping it casual lately. I’m all about skinny jeans, sandals, and fun tops/tanks… always paired with a tote, sunnies and statement earrings. My go-to style these days.
Well life feels like it’s flying. August is just going way too fast. I’ve had some really epic weekends though that have been so good for my soul. My weekend in MQT with the girls and then I housesat for my parents in Muskegon last weekend. I have a bunch of photos I’ll probably share in a blog post this week, so stay tuned! It’s so fun to go back to your hometown (if you don’t still live there obviously lol) and just explore. There are SO many new amazing places, and there’s also the old familiar spots too. I’ll blog about it, so stay tuned! I have a few insane life-changing weeks coming up, so I’m just really trying to enjoy life right now, in this very moment and make the most of it. Hanging tight onto summer for as long as I can, that’s for sure. Even with how much I ADORE fall, I just want to freeze time right now somehow. ❤️
