Plaid + floral
Let the autumn content begin! Man, this season is so fleeting. I feel like we’re almost halfway through it… and to me, it’s just beginning! But we’re definitely starting to see peak colors here in the Upper Peninsula. I need to venture west to get some content rolling this weekend, but life has been busy. Fun, but busy! I’ve been helping out with some Fresh Coast Film Festival design needs… be sure to check out the festival and attend if you’re in the area! Other than that, trying to up the personal style aspect to the blog for the best season to dress in, before winter hits. I’m not entirely sure I love this outfit? I tried to replicate a Madewell look and it’s maybe a little frumpy, but oh well. Here it is. Can’t totally win em all, but it’s fun to try! 🍂
But yeah, this jacket is 9 years running! I get a lot of questions on it… but it’s so old, from Free People. I’ve heard it might be available on Poshmark though! And I picked up this long dress from Garnet Hill last year, but it’s out of stock currently. It’s tough continuing to post on personal style, when most of my closet is old. I buy a few new things each season, but it’s pretty rare nowadays! I’m actually really trying to condense down, and have been selling a lot on Poshmark. So be sure to pop over there and pick up anything before I close the doors on it soon!
Otherwise, not much is new! Just crankin’ along on goals. Life is fun right now. I’m feeling really grateful for Marquette and my friend group/community right now. I want to really embrace autumn and this month. October is just the best month of the year. What else can I ramble about? Plaidurday is coming up tomorrow… so be sure to wear your finest plaid and post a photo on social media tagging #plaidurday!
