Winter log stack
Ohhhhhhhhh my goodness. Am I the worst blogger ever or what? I’ve really been slacking this year so far. Not intentional, just… I don’t know. This happens in winter sometimes, especially when you’ve been blogging for almost 13 years. Plus, I was hit with COVID at the beginning of the year, and then… just some post-COVID blues, winter blues, feeling “stuck”, and just trying to move forward on other goals… like finances, my full-time career, training for a 10K, getting organized, changing some things over, and working on TikToks. The blog and IG sometimes take a hit. It all balances out… and I’ll get back to em soon! Thankfully the days are getting longer, so it’s much easier to take photos after work now that the sun doesn’t set until 6:30pm. Spring is on the way!
So yeah, just a quick outfit post today… with an outfit I wore to trek out to Big Bay for the night! I just felt like getting out of the house, and I love a tradition of “Fish Fry Fridays” so I was like… I’ll take a drive to Big Bay, see what photo opps are along the way, golden hour at the beach, and then go to Thunder Bay Inn for fish fry! I have a soft spot for Big Bay, it’s definitely a place I tend to gravitate to. But yeah, along the way, I spotted this log stack… and was like YAS! And thankfully there was a snowmobile track right in front of it, so I didn’t have to walk through super deep snow to get these photos. But yeah, a good Friday night! Sometimes I feel so stuck and alone, but when I look back on the nights I create for myself, I feel better. I’ve got this. ❤️ Anyway, hope you’re all doing well. I’m going to try and get a few more winter adventures before spring really hits… and in the UP, we’ve definitely got a bit of winter left.
