Daylight savings ends

What a whirlwind of a month, honestly. It feels like October just started, and now it's all finished up. I don't usually know what I associate the month of November with other than Thanksgiving. We've had some crazy winds lately so all of the leaves are almost off the trees, it's nuts! Today, daylight savings ended and it felt like such a crazy long day! Now it'll get dark so much earlier, it's going to be so awful. Bleh!

It was 50 degrees, sunny and pretty warm today. We felt guilty not doing much, but we got groceries, took a few shots on the lake, and rented a boat load of movies from the video store. I also searched for homes on the internet and we went to look at one that really appeals to us. It's in a gorgeous neighborhood just 6 miles from us. Way under our conservative price range and brand new. I cannot wait to become a homeowner. I'm going to look and see what I can get myself into before graduation because I want to take advantage of the $8,000 tax credit, so if we can make an offer on it sooner rather than later, that'd be amazing. This has always been such a huge dream to me and.. this place is perfect. Anyway, I look too much into the future as always. I need to have patience. Living in Grand Haven will be wonderful. Wonderful school system, safe, super clean town, amazing summer tourist town, beautiful beaches and it's 30 minutes away from Grand Rapids and 3 hours away from Chicago. It'd be a perfect place to raise kids, perfect place to grow old with my family. I'm so sentimental but I just love it around here. It's not for everyone, but it is for me and the kind of life I want to live. Eep, life is so exciting.
