Cutting the tree

This past weekend, we went to cut down our Christmas tree! We went to the same exact place last year, so it's fun to see this year's photos compared to last year's! It's a cute little place to chop down your own tree. Both last year and this year, we haven't yet had snow - which is awesome. I like November with no snow! Once December hits though, I'd love to have some for Christmastime! It doesn't feel right having our decorated tree inside when it's 45 degrees outside!

I'm in love with this jacket. I bought it from the Old Navy's 50% outerwear sale a month ago! It's so insanely warm and I love the length because I can wear any type of dress or skirt under it and it's concealed. Plus, I hate when you buy a jacket and wear it with jeans.. and your cardigan sticks out underneath. Plus, if you bend over and your back shows, you're freezing! I definitely wanted the long look this year. I also have not taken these boots off since I got them from Wanted. They are going to be so great when I'm romping around in snow above my ankles.

What a fun tradition! I'm super excited for the month of December - it looks like there are a lot of good times ahead! Christmas parties, shopping, friends, family. Life is so busy, but very good! My job is going great, our band is progressing along (I love our new song!) and there's so much to look forward to. Every day counts, right?
