Style on the street
I return after a very much enjoyed, long weekend away! It was so great to sleep in, lounge around, spend a lot of time with family and friends and to get our Christmas decorations up. It doesn't at all feel like Christmas-time! We don't have snow yet (I'm not complaining!) and the temperature today was 41 - which is pretty warm for us at the end of November!
I have been hoarding clothes in my closet! Kate from Postcards From sent me this dress a while back to style up and I'm finally getting to it! I absolutely love this floral print! It's so pretty and I thought it paired well with my new boots from Threadsence! I would wear this outfit constantly if I could! I'm so predictable with my style - I have to force myself to not wear floral print, lace up boots and a chunky circle scarf lately!
In big news, but completely unofficial, we have plans and put down money to build a house! We're reserving the lot right now for 6-months. Next April, if everything goes according to plan, we'll meet with an architect and a designer to pick out all of our colors and cabinets and what not. Then, next May, our builder will "dig" our hole and we'll be golden from there! We have a lot to do in the meantime and we have to work on saving a lot of money, but I'm so excited about the future. The house is amazing and the neighborhood is just wonderful. Let's cross our fingers!
I have another outfit post, a weekend post, a fun giveaway and a vlog coming up this week! For Christmas, I really want an HD video camera! I'd love to start playing around more with videos and video editing. This video here really inspired me to start teaching myself more about how I can create videos like this for my blog! It's such a great way to showcase your favorite music, outfit and surroundings all into one post. Well, have a great week everyone!
